In 2023, UMeWorld entered into the palm oil industry through the wholesale acquisition of ATG International, one of the premier palm oil operators and palm oil engineering firms in Malaysia. UMeWorld currently operates two palm oil mills, with a third mill currently under construction. The combined throughput of the operation approximates to 240 metric tons per hour.
Using state-of-the-art proprietary technology, maximum efficiency and minimum wastage are achieved across the three mills through the implementation of automated procedures and streamlined processes. Ensuring compliance with sustainability standards remain a top priority, such that the mills are able to produce ethical palm oil in compliance with the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) standards.
Our guiding principles permeate through our entire palm oil operation, from harvest to bottle, and bottle to table. We are aware of the reputation that precedes palm oil, and we believe that the palm oil industry is long overdue for change. We believe palm oil can be done differently - more efficiently, more sustainably, and more ethically. Implementing a ground-up remodel, we overhaul legacy technology, legacy processes, and most importantly, legacy thinking.
